Camille Ciancanelli
Garden Liaison
Camille has lived in Bellingham since 1997 and has been volunteering with the Chuckanut Center since 2022. A software engineer with graduate degrees in computer science and psychology, Camille has worked in big tech, startups, and for nonprofits. She has built systems for Microsoft Band and Alexa at Amazon, served as a founding engineer at several startups, and provided counseling and crisis intervention for nonprofit mental health organizations. She combines technical expertise with a human-centered perspective to design practical solutions, improve processes, and strengthen organizational impact.
Camille has also served on advisory, governing, and working boards, applying systems thinking and collaborative leadership to guide projects, turn ideas into results, and support long-term growth.
Outside the Center, she enjoys gardening, hiking, mountain biking, and spending time with horses.
