Join Northwest Natura for a day of whimsical woodworking in this half-day course co-led by Jazmen Yoder (Northwest Natura) and experienced carver, Mike B. (The Dry Troll).

What to Expect

• Learn the lore of trees, and their magical properties and symbolism.

• Select a stick from an offering of various magical plants provided to participants:

  • Select a species to work with - choose your wood

• Learn carving techniques, detail work, and knife safety

• Handcraft your own unique wand from start to finish

• Option to wrap with metal wire, add colorful dyes, and/or carve sigils to personalize and enchant the wand in the final portion of the course.
