Join experienced broom maker, Becka Viets of Hexagon Textile & Broom, in learning hand broom making basics.
Students will learn with skills to make turkey tail brooms, hawk tail brooms. Class will also cover broom anatomy, lore, history, a demo and hands on broom making time.
Supplies to make two+ brooms are included. Additional supplies will be available for purchase.
Recommended ages 18+
Class duration 2.5 hours.
Physical abilities needed; grasping, holding, turning/rotating, maintaining tension between a stick under feet and a broom in hands.
